I had Linkinus crash a few (or a few more :P) times lately, and always stayed connected because of the agent still running. But if merging them is the only way to reduce memory usage – I'm all for it, ’cause at the moment it's *really* annoying sometimes, even moreso on a CD MBP, where I can't have more than 2 gigs of RAM... Not implementing *everything* and keeping focus sure is a good thing. Though I'd have to see what exactly you'd like to take away before I'd vote yes or no for a slimmer version. All in all... I'm happy it's moving again =). It doesn't matter if it is happening fast or not, but just seeing it's still alive and evolving is very good. Take your time and don't rush things, as long as we (I hope I'm allowed to speak for more people there :) ) know what's going on, everything's great.
