It’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve given any news about Linkinus development, so here goes:
Linkinus 1.3 is coming together quite nicely. It brings to the table a GUI redesign, a lot of bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as some of the most requested features ever.
To name a few, it is now possible to:
- Automatically reconnect to servers after being disconnected
- Select multiple channels/queries for simultaneous viewing
- Cycle through auto-completions using the tab key repeatedly
- Right-click a nickname in the channel view and be presented with a context menu
On a related note, the Agent/UI architecture is still present, and we have worked around the bug faced by Logitech drivers’ users.
To keep you waiting a bit longer, here is a partial screenshot of the revamped user interface. As you can see, one of the goals was Leopard integration, but it is still Tiger compatible (of course!).

Linkinus 1.3 will be a free upgrade to all 1.x full-license holders.
